• “Services” refers to subscription insurance, price-insurance products, website functionality, quote tools, and related services.
• “Subscription Insurance” refers to cover provided under a subscription model rather than a traditional monthly premium insurance policy.
• “Policyholder” means a user who has an active subscription or agreement with us.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our website, submitting information, requesting a quote or purchasing any of our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

3. Eligibility

To use our services you must:

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
• Provide truthful and accurate information.

Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information may result in cancellation or refusal of cover.

4. Nature of Subscription Insurance

Our subscription offerings differ from traditional insurance. Key points:

• Subscription fees instead of traditional premiums.
• Coverage only applies according to your subscription agreement.
• Claims may require activation of cover according to policy terms.
• Not all standard insurance features apply; check each policy carefully.

5. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes we provide are estimates based on the information you supply. Quotes do not guarantee acceptance or final pricing. If information provided is inaccurate or incomplete, final pricing may differ.

6. User Responsibilities

As a user you agree not to:

• Misuse or attempt to breach our systems;
• Provide false or fraudulent information;
• Share another person’s data without their consent;
• Upload harmful content (e.g. malware, scripts);
• Disrupt website functionality or security.

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and device security.

7. Payment & Billing

Where applicable, subscription fees must be paid using authorised payment methods. Failure to pay may result in suspension or cancellation of your subscription. Price Insure is not liable for costs arising from failed or declined payments.

8. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time via written notice. Some products may require a notice period. Unless otherwise specified, cover ends immediately upon cancellation.

We may cancel subscriptions if:

• Fraud or misrepresentation is suspected;
• Payment is not received;
• Terms of use are violated;
• Legal or regulatory obligations require cancellation.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our site — including text, graphics, logos, images, icons, software and layouts — are our property or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, modify or distribute any material without our prior written consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Price Insure is not liable for:

• Losses due to website downtime or technical issues;
• Errors resulting from inaccurate information supplied by users;
• Interruption of service caused by maintenance or third-party systems;
• Losses outside the scope of an active subscription or qualifying event.

Where permitted by law, our maximum liability is limited to the value of the subscription at the time of loss.

11. Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g. payment gateways). We provide these for convenience only and are not responsible for their content, practices, or security.

12. Privacy & Personal Information

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (see privacy.html). By using our services you consent to that processing.

We may amend these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and by applicable legislation, including FAIS, POPIA and relevant financial services laws.
